Calling young nature lovers! Join us on Saturday, April 13th from 9-11 AM at the office of the Shasta Land Trust, Daniell Beaver Banks Preserve, and enjoy a spring morning learning about our flying feathered friends and creepy crawling critters!
Learn about the incredible bird species seen along our Sacramento River property with a walking bird tour led by the Shasta Birding Society. Kids will learn tips to ID birds and will also enjoy a fun art activity with the Spring Rivers Foundation. You’ll even get a chance to see and learn about a variety of unique geckos, lizards, and other reptilian critters!
Binoculars will be available to borrow from the Shasta Birding Society. Plus, snacks and beverages will be provided for our young explorers.
