Two Rivers Park
This 39-acre park is located on a scenic bluff overlooking the convergence of the Pit and Fall River, hence the name “Two Rivers Park”. Once an old parking lot, the Fall River Community Service District, through partnership with the Pacific Forest and Watershed Lands Stewardship Council, obtained this land with the intent on creating a day use area for hiking, fishing, nature observation, and picnicking. The park will include benches, educational signage, and ADA compliant pathways. An easement was placed on this property by the Shasta Land Trust in 2018 with the goal of protecting the amazing benefits it provides to the town of Fall River.
These benefits include the protection of the natural habitat of fish, wildlife, and plants, preservation of open space, outdoor recreation by the general public, sustainable forestry, and historic values. Development of the park is still underway, so stay tuned for updates about this beautiful hidden gem of the Fall River Valley!
