The Wildways series of fundraising events connects people and places, offers education and unique experiences and is a fun way to contribute to the preservation of significant lands in far northern California.

Hosted by volunteers, all proceeds from ticket sales support Shasta Land Trust’s mission to conserve local land.

These events feature a wide variety of hiking, bike riding, and kayaking adventures, along with some other unique experiences tossed in. Come enjoy exclusive access on many of our protected properties, including some newly projected local gems, as well as expanses of open space, and other secret spots, all while supporting local land conservation!

Since 2003, volunteers have hosted Shasta Land Trust supporters at over 395 events! The success of the Wildways program has helped us permanently protect 39 properties spanning over 59,000 acres of working agricultural lands, water and wildlife habitat, recreation, and scenic beauty in our community.

The Wildways program would not be possible without our generous landowners, volunteers, hosts, sponsors, and the many supporters who attend. We hope to see you at one or more of these exciting events!

Don’t forget to mark your calendars! After purchasing tickets, you’ll be contacted by Shasta Land Trust in the days prior to your chosen event with details. Let us take you on an upclose tour of the newly protected, 860-acre Ross Ranch. Learn about the sustainable ranching practices used on the property, the Carbon Farm Plan in partnership with Point Blue Conservation Science, and the many future plans for this important property. The tour will be followed by a special lunch from Moonstone Bistro!
