There's so much to learn when it comes to the abundant natural resources in Shasta County! Since we at Shasta Land Trust don't always have the opportunity to bring our members and supporters out into the field to learn firsthand about the amazing efforts of talented community partners, we thought we'd bring the education and knowledge to you.

In 2022 we are so excited to bring back our Conservation Lunch Series. Throughout this year’s series of webinars, you’ll have the chance to hear from community experts and local conservation leaders about the great work they are doing in and around Shasta County. Technically all farming is carbon farming. This is your chance to hear how different farming practices and management can lead to very different amounts of carbon captured and stored. Hear how implementing a Carbon Farm Plan has an effect on climate resilience, soil health, agriculture productivity, and more! Bring your lunch to this free event and the Land Trust will provide the drinks and some snacks! It is recommended that you also bring a folding chair as we will be meeting under a large shady oak tree near the Ross Ranch Barn located at 11973 Old Oregon Trail, Redding, CA.
